Disgraced former UFC welterweight, Paul “Semtex” Daley has reportedly been offered the chance to train at a world class professional boxing camp following his sensational cut from the roster earlier this week.
Sources close to the situation revealed the news earlier today to ESPN.co.uk. The switch could be one way of staying active in the combat sport world if he’s hit by a lengthy suspension from MMA by the Quebec Athletic Commission.
Daley was dominated for three rounds in the wrestling stakes at UFC 113 on Saturday night by Josh Koscheck. Clearly frustrated after the fight, Daley muscled past the referee to land what Koscheck later described as his most effective punch of the night.
