From the off it was always expected to be an exciting clash between the two headliners Billy Evangelista and Jorge Gurgel. Neither man are known for taking a backwards step and the fight played off in exciting fashion. Both men had their share of success with Gurgel nearly ending the fight with a head kick but failing to finish off his opponent. It was a hairy moment for Evangelista who was looking to preserve his undefeated record and he eventually outlasted his opponent and landed some key takedowns to take the decision.

The heavyweight clash between Del Rosario and Cash end how no-one expected; with an Omoplata.

Cash was looking to land a haymaker to end the fight but Del Rosario proved his chin and then his ground acumen to take home the victory.

Former TUF star Jesse Taylor lost to a Rear Naked Choke to the fast rising Luke Rockhold.
