“The UFC needs to get some new judges before I even think about coming back,” is Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson’s reaction to the result of Saturday night’s UFC 104 headline fight, which saw Lyoto Machida retain his light-heavyweight title by controversial unanimous decision.
Using his blog to invite fans to complain about the judges and judging system that the UFC use, he wrote, “I want the hardcore fans to go back and watch all the fights that you thought was kinda shady with the judges in the UFC and TUF and write down the names of the judges so you guys can complain and have a voice. Do your homework… It’s hard for me to believe that the UFC is so successful and has over 100 shows and can’t tell who wins a fight.”
Jackson says the UFC “looked like assholes” because of the decision in the Machida-Shogun fight, which he described as “boring”, adding that he “anticipated that because let’s be real … Machida is a boring fighter. But Shogun getting robbed like that was pretty cutthroat”.
Jackson is currently on hiatus from fighting after accepting a part in the A-Team movie that is currently being filmed in Canada. In his latest blog post, he says that he watched UFC 104 with some fellow cast members and was left feeling“ashamed” of the result in the main event.
