The UFC have officially added nine exciting fights to next month’s UFC 101 card set to take place in Philadelphia on August 8th, an event that is headlined by the lightweight title bout between B.J. Penn and Kenny Florian.

Added to the card is former UFC middleweight contender, Thales Leites who will take on Italian boxer, Allessio Sakara, while “Ultimate Fighter” season three middleweight winner, Kendall Grove takes on Ricardo Almeida also in the 185 pound division.

The event will see a whole host of other past “Ultimate Fighter” contestants compete, including season seven winner, Amir Sadollah who will make his official UFC debut after a string of injuries.

Despite being the co-main event of the evening, the fight between middleweight champion, Anderson Silva and former 205 pound king, Forrest Griffin is bound to attract the most attention with this being “The Spiders” toughest test to date.
