"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Torrie Wilson as of today, May 8, 2008.

We wish Torrie the best in all her future endeavors."

Wilson had stated recently that she has been experiencing severe back pain and was advised by doctors to never wrestle in the ring again. She had been doing promotional work for WWE while taking time off.
