NBC has been trying to cross promote the American Gladiators with the WWE. WWE is hesitant to do a major angle with them after what happened with the Jackass crew last summer.
Despite the fact that WWE started promoting the angle on television, the guys from Jackass all got cold feet & started flaking out one by one until the angle was scrapped all together.
