Rey Mysterio made an appearance on Fox News earlier today. Mysterio was asked about steroids and he said he had never taken them.

When asked what it would mean if his name was released in an investigation, Mysterio responded saying his name would only be connected to pain medication. He added that wrestlers of today were a "different breed" from their predecessors.

Mysterio later said the wrestlers are there to entertain and that is all they do. He quickly plugged SummerSlam this Sunday and said any connection he had to Dr. Phil Astin was for pain medication due to his six different knee operations. Mysterio said he never knew Chris Benoit was using steroids and even though he was a very close friend, he never talked about steroids. One report described Mysterio as looking very uncomfortable when the topic of steroids was brought up by the Fox hosts on the show.
