Undefeated lightweight prospect Brandon “BAM BAM” Rios returns to Chicago for his second straight SOLO BOXEO televised co-main event on Friday, April 13th as part of RESURRECTION, another evening of world class professional boxing promoted by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING. Joining 8 Count Productions in presenting RESURRECTION is Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated, TCF Bank and TECATE Beer.

The 20 year old Rios, 14-0 (10KO’s), fighting out of La Colonial Gym in Oxnard, California, home base for two time junior middleweight champion Fernando Vargas, will battle El Paso’s Carlos Madrid, 8-2-1 (2KO’s) in the eight round co-main event.
Rios’s last bout was a unanimous decision over Humberto Tapia on December 22, 2006 at Cicero Stadium, an outstanding eight round war also broadcast internationally on SOLO BOXEO.
