In an update to our earlier story regarding CMLL contracted wrestlers being “banned” from working on any show that Hijo del Santo is on.

The ban came into effect on March 9^th, yet on March 17th, Hijo del Santo was performing in an actual CMLL event.... see the poster in this story.

It would appear that the luchadores are following CMLL's stance. If you look at the poster, you will see that the semi-main event had CMLL performers Shocker, Hector Garza, Universo 2000, and Mascara Ano 2000 listed among the participants. The actual semi ended up involving independent workers as none of the CMLL workers showed up.

This would seem to be a similar situation to the old “Konnan rule”
