WWE.com is reporting that legendary manager and wrestler, Arnold Skaaland, has passed away at age 82.

Skaaland was a former wrestler, manager, promoter and stockholder in the old Capital Wrestling Corporation (the owner of then WWWF which is now known as WWE Inc). He is perhaps most famously known as the manager of Bob Backlund who threw in the towel allowing the Iron Shiek to become WWE Champion before dropping the belt to Hulk Hogan beginning Hulkamania.

He passed away yesterday with his wife, Betty, at his side.

On behalf of everyone at Kocosports.com we would like to send out our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Arnold Skaaland.
